Hey Guys!
I've been writing poetry for the better part of my adolescence and I am finally comfortable enough with my words to show them to the world. With this said I have gathered and edited a large percentage of my poems and compiled them into a book.
Unfortunately the cost of self publishing a book is ridiculous and frankly the process is very time consuming. I have pledged for $350 on this Kickstarter website to help pay for the publication of my book. This will cover the bear bones printing of my book, and nothing else like advertisement and compensation for the the people who helped with the creative process of making this book happen.
I was raised and taught that taking donations from people is a less than honorable thing to do. So I have instead decided to take another approach to this Kickstarter, and have offered different tiers of rewards for people who decide to help. They should be posted somewhere on the finished project page.
I would like to take the time to thank each and everyone of you for not only helping make this project / dream come true. But for also showing interest in my poetry. It means the world!
I feel special thanks need to be given to those who have helped make this book actually happen. So I would like to take the time to make a shout out for Christina Paulin (My loving mother), and Elizabeth Cubit (My supporting sister), thank you guys for helping with the artwork for the book! I am sure the world will love to see it.
