14B are looking for a caring, compassionate Assistant in Nursing team member to work in a 44 bed Haematology/Oncology ward. You will be working closely with patients and families through their journey with cancer and will need to be proactive in patient centred care.
You will need to bring to the role a high level of communication skills and life experience.
Eligibility/Other Requirements: Certificate III in Health Services Assistance or recognized equivalent (for example working towards Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor of Nursing) is essential.

Responsibility Statement: The role of the Assistant in Nursing/Personal Care worker is to supports registered nurses in the delivery of personal health care to patients and the maintenance of a safe patient care environment.
DUTY STATEMENT (AIN at all times assists in the provision of nursing care under the direct or indirect supervision of a RN)
1. Provide safe, effective, assistance to the person to support their specific needs in performing activities of daily living.
2. Work under direct and indirect guidance, supervision and support of a Registered Nurse as a member of the nursing care team.
