Her,only, next door neighbor is a middle aged woman with cats she can't afford to neuter so when the females are in heat we hear the conflict that goes on between her and her cats who just want out to hook up with the yowling tomcats which roam the park.
Across the street to the south, at the back of the park lives an older man who lets his dog out to do his business. One of his favorite spots is my daughters yard and sometimes her porch.
The family across from us have children, at least a 3 year old girl and an infant son. They frequently have family and friends over for visits and BBQs on a grill I gave them since we didn't use it. Twice I have seen a teenage boy (relative/friend?) have to climb through a window to unlock their door. Coincidentally on both occasions I also had to climb through my daughters window to unlock her door. She put two spare keys outside for me because I don't like to carry keys. One was in a potted peppermint planter which I transplanted in the ground, only I forgot about the key so I buried it. The other one was in a notch in the wall of the cat door which I accidentally pushed to the back where it dropped out of reach. Both times I had to crawl through the window I had gone downtown with my daughter to the bar and was ready to go home before she was so I just walked home without thinking to get the key from her.
In the summer our park is full of active children riding their bikes, playing and screaming in the street. We also have a neighbor down the way who unleashes their two yappy little dogs on the park. They are rather annoying.
