Exercise Notes
The chest dip exercise is an advanced pectol movement that requires tremendos upper-body strength, especially for larger people. Most people fail to use a full range of motion during this movement and therefore do not receive an optimal workout. Keeping the forearms perpendicular to the floor while leaning the truck forward places the tension on the pectorals and spares the elbows. Keep the elbows turked into the body and don't let them flare outward. Go deep but not so deep that you aggravate the shoulder joints. Use the triceps up top to lock out the elbows.
