the 5-minute Barriers Specific Self-Efficacy Scale
(BARSE) created by McAuley in 1992 (Expsychlab.

one study of working mothers (Dombrowski, 2006), the
most frequent barriers to physical activity were: schedule
conflicts, difficulty getting to the exercise location,
and not enjoying exercise.
