A nice example of a clear requirements (China, India casting) where a straight forward company like ARI has to say ‘sorry, we cannot’.
At a second view I wonder who can supply strainer with castings coming from Russia, other East-European countries or Brasil, South-Africa or I do not know from which other supplying countries. The more as the tail of certification points towards a elite foundry.
I would understand if the castings are made in Dubai the problem is no problem, even the foundry is owned by the same Indian foundry we usually order raw-casting
It creates great pain to refuse to offer, but even I’d open a project, asking our procurement to shift the pattern let us say to a Czech Republic based foundry or the earlier mentioned example in Dubai – would PTT pay for these expensive raw material?
Or will a smart company in Italy or Spain offer strainer with a COO stating the strainer has been made in Spain or Italy?
The Germans are not good in this smart business as we do buy only raw material in India but the entire value chain incl. machining etc. is done in Germany.
A fine but drastic differences – ARI does not buy finished product from an Overseas Valve-OEM and declare them made in EU with a stamped CO.
We do all OEM work inhouse in Germany. I’d say that is a difference, the raw material comes from long time supplying partner with CE, Lloyds and I do not know what more international certification.
I am curious to learn who can offer the strainers for what price.
Please let me know eventually who is the competitor who master this kind of requirement.
