To study the innate immunemechanism of olive flounder
(n = 450), groups of fish were injected intraperitoneally
(50ml) with 5, 50 and 100 mg kg1 115 body weight of TKM
triherbal aqueous (n = 100), ethanol (n = 100) or methanol
116 (n = 100) solvent extract using 1-ml tuberculin syringe
with 24-gauge needle on day 1. The corresponding control
groups received 50ml of 0 mg kg1 body weight of TKM
triherbal aqueous (n = 50), ethanol (n = 50) or methanol
(n = 50) extracts only. All the groups were maintained
separately in replicate tanks (n = 900). After herbal treatment,
fish were injected (50ml) with U. marinum

) on day 7.
