Three education groups (<12 years, 12 years, and >12 years) best reflected the differences in score distributions. Analyses of variance revealed that comparison of education groups based on these categories resulted in significant differences (P<.01) for all scores in each of the age groups. Normative data for each of the two age groups are presented in Table 3. To account for the influenceofgenderandeducationonStroopTestscoreswithineachagerange,Table4provides scoreadjustmentsbasedoneducationandgenderforeachagegroup.Theadjustmentsarebased on differences in mean scores for the sample stratified by education and gender (Table 1) and approximately equate scores for each education by gender subgroup within an age group to the age group Stroop Test mean score.
