Table 3 presents the mean score of the ten survey items about the effects of learning English through songs on the subjects’ listening English skill. The highest mean score was Item 12 (M=4.5) which meant that students thought that learning to English songs and reading the lyrics was helpful to their listening skill.
Then, the second was three Items have the same mean scores was the highest are number 13,16 and 14 (M=4.3) which suggested that students thought that listening to English songs and reading the lyrics help improve their spelling. They belief it was an easier way to learn English when compared to studying vocabulary lists. And it was found that the students liked to listening English songs and reading the lyrics because it is fun.
The third was two Items have the same mean scores was the high mean score are number 18 and 17 (M=4.2) which suggested that listening to English songs while reading the lyrics improved their pronunciation. Also, it was shown that it would contribute to their learning of English if they could make their own selected of songs.
