also analyzed by analysis of variance and a model containing
postmortem treatment and postmortem aging
interval and their interaction as main effects, as previously

percentages of samples displaying certain texture and
flavour properties were analyzed using the chi-square
test (Puri & Mullen, 1980). Linear regression was used
to detect significant time trends in specific traits during
postmortem storage (Puri & Mullen, 1980).
