The microstructure analysis has been carried out via Leitz
Metallux3 optical microscope (OM). The volume fraction, size and
second distribution of phase particles were done via image analyzer of
Leitz ASM68K. The hardness test has been made via Universal
Hardness Testing instrument in HV scale. The wear test has been
carried out via pin on disk regarding the ASTM: G99-95a standard
(ASTM Designation, 2000) all in normal environments (atmospheric
pressure, 23–25 °C and 25–35% moisture level). In these tests, the
specimens were chosen as pin while the disk material was normal
steel (AISI-D3) with hardness of 300 HV. The vertical applied force on
the top of the pin was 40 N. The wear test instrument was stopped at
120, 400, 700 and 1000 mand the weight loss of the pin after washing
with acetone under the ultrasonic vibrational instruments was
measured using an instrument with error scale of 0.0001 gr.
