background and lack of vocabularies became one of thereasons of why reading narrative text was not easy. Modified suggestopediamethod came as an interesting alternative way of delivering reading narrative text.From all explanations about utilizing suggestopedia, this article ensured that themodified suggestopedia method was an interesting method that could be appliedeasily by me or other teachers.The steps of modified suggestopedia could be applied easily. I became anarrator, a model, an observer and a guide for the students. I needed threemeetings to deliver the narrative text. Each meeting had its own skill to perform.This conscious and unconsciously helped my students to encounter the learningreading barriers.The use of music in the modified suggestopedia method suggested thelearners to release their obstacle of comprehending reading narrative text throughdirect or indirect positive suggestions. The assessment could be the studentsreading, performance, answering questions, guessing the sentence meaning and playing role play in groups or individual. At last, the interaction between teacher and students determined the success of applying modified suggestopedia method.
