All intervention sessions and one baseline session were conducted in the classroom. The classroom was arranged typical
of an early childhood educational setting and contained shelves of toys, child-sized chairs, and developmentally appropriate
instructional and play materials. Intervention sessions were embedded during the regularly scheduled center time (i.e.,
common early childhood classroom activity that involves rotating through stations containing a variety of different activities
designed to target different skills). During intervention sessions as many as six additional children, two teachers, one or two
teaching assistants, and one or two data collectors were present.
