In treatment aquarium, the shrimp were exposed to different
BaP concentrations (0.03, 0.3 and 3g/L). There were
three triplicates for each level and 60 shrimp in each aquarium.
Seawater containing the same concentrations of BaP
was added to maintain the corresponding concentrations of
BaP during the experiment. BaP was first dissolved in acetone.
The final acetone concentration was 0.001% in all tanks
including the control ones (the acetone test has been done
in a preliminary experiment with the result that there was
no influence on shrimp). The exposure concentrations of
