However, the genders do interact at work, especially in multinational companies. For example Unilever's female brand managers, as long they adhere to dress codes, interact with male colleagues and meet with men from other companies. However, they are limited in traveling abroad on company business because they need permission from their male relatives. Some multinationals ease this problem by paying the travel costs for a male relative to accompany a woman abroad.
