The expert reviews described here are not designed to be conducted by several researchers—the cost is generally prohibitive in realworld projects. However, if you have the resources available, it is certainly desirable to use more than one researcher. The use of a single-person expert review is sometimes questioned within the UX community as different “experts” will have different opinions and spot different usability issues. This type of expert review is not an exact science. More importantly, actual users are not involved in the process. So, if your expert review uncovers usability problems, you would be wise to verify these issues via some other method such as usability testing.
