4. Ventilation
Ventilation is definitive to indoor air quality. An essential component of a healthy and comfortable indoor environment focuses on a certain rate of air exchange. Ventilation provides an acceptable microclimate in the space by supplying and removing air via natural or mechanical means to and from any space [75]. Microclimate is defined as the thermal environment and air quality of the air space. These are the fundamentals to the comfort and wellbeing of the human occupants.
