In order to evaluate LTE-D2D network performance, we need a simulator to support. Two open source L TE network simulation platforms such as System Level Simulator of L TE network [4] developed by Vienna University of Technology and LTE-Sim by Polytechnic University of Turin [5] are available. System level simulator of LTE network is based on MA TLAB and computationally efficient. The simulator offers a high degree of flexibility. For the implementation, the
simulator extensively uses Object-oriented programming (OOP). Having a modular code with a clear structure based in objects results in a much more organized, understandable and maintainable. For this perspective, in this paper, we design the D2D communication module in system level simulator of L TE network.
