Thank you. A couple of comments/suggestions. We’ll need Tien/Tu Anh’s help on this as well.
Let’s fill in the gap on the right hand of the wall with the window (using sheetrock or wall board so there’s no cut-away – they’ll need a contractor to do that). Then we can extend the shelving all the way from the left to right, leaving a space where the window is, or even wrapping the unit around the window. This way it’s a comprehensive storage area, and that wall is more uniform. Right now we’re not getting much storage and I don’t like the small gaps on either side of the bookshelves. The wall with the kitchen area is OK – moving the table over there, but we should develop something later that’s nicer. That fridge should be a min-fridge, not a stand-up fridge. That’s part of the problem – it’s just too big for that space.
Tien – can Lam or Wong take what Shai sent and model the shelving units to fit that space. Then send us the rendered items in their 3D modeling of the space to make sure it’s correct. The areas above the cabinets are meant to be all different sizes and shapes so they can store books, artifacts, video screens, etc. We’re doing a huge version of this concept for Tuxedo, and yours will be a mini-model of that. Andrew can send you what they have going for Tuxedo for reference. It’s meant to put a focus on things, and ideas. I’ll explain more when it’s further along so you know how to merchandise those (with Shaii’s help).
