As oil from the brake valve increases, the clutch piston (2) engages the clutch pack and the friction between the clutch plates and discs start to rotate the final drive. As oil pressure on the piston decreases, the friction decreases, and the final drives start to slow. The steering clutch pack is hydraulically applied and spring released.
