Freedom of Association
The employer respects the rights of workers to associate and bargain collectively in accordance with applicable law. Where the rights to associate and collectively bargain are restricted by law, the employer facilitates parallel means of independent and free association and bargaining for all such workers.
1. Employer complies with all applicable laws that pertain to freedom of association and collective bargaining.
2. Employer does not discriminate on the basis of affiliation or non-affiliation.
3. Employer does not allow interference by management in the organization of workers.
4. Employer does not subject its workers to harassment, intimidation, or retaliation in their efforts to freely associate or bargain collectively.
5. Employer provides means for workers to associate and bargain collectively where freedom of association and collective bargaining are legally restricted.
