Dear Colleagues,
Exterran Thailand Team has again reached a fantastic milestone to achieve our 4 Million man-hours without a lost time incident on 30 June 2014, Outstanding, congratulations to all!
However, unfortunately our Chevron CHESM rating has been downgraded from A rating to C rating due to the fact we have had 2 medical treatment cases already in 2014 which has also commercially impacted the company and each individual both.
We have created a mitigation plan to recover and prevent these reoccurring and further other incidents occurring. All Exterran Thailand staff must strengthen our resolve to perform and support the mitigation plan in full. The plan includes;
Such as developing and committing to new procedures
More in-depth reviews of HA/JSA’s, and performing assessed- buddy observe function etc.
To ensure assessing risk and verify safeguards are functioning prior to starting every task, strictly to follow safe work procedures and immediately exercise Stop Work Authority
We have also implemented our Exterran X Factor 24/7 QHSE program to further enforce our safety culture in our organization both at NST before each offshore trip and Offsite meetings at BKK. All Exterran staff must attend these QHSE events.
Every one of us must Eliminate At-Risk Behaviors and change to a Safer Behavior / safety habit & build a stronger safety culture within Exterran. Every Person is responsible for their own safety, and importantly as well as the people around you. You are the key to an incident-free environment.
