Qualitative data collection procedures
All 1-2 h interviews took place in person. An interview guide outlined broad open-ended questions related to families’ experiences with services across sectors, allowing participants the opportunity to describe individual perceptions and experiences while ensuring common coverage of topical areas in interviews. An example question is, “Can you describe your interactions with service providers and how they support your family?” Interviews were audio-recorded, transcribed verbatim with all identifiers removed, and checked for accuracy by the interviewer.
