3.2 Instruments
Two research instruments that were
implemented in this study were interviews
and questionnaire of the fourth year, class
Four, English major students in the Faculty of
Education, Roi-Et Rajabhat University
English Education. The interview and
questionnaire were used to find out the
subjects’ effects of using authentic materials.
The criteria consisted of seven areas;
interesting of using authentic materials,
learning about the new vocabulary of using
authentic materials, using authentic materials
reflect to cultures that the importance,
learning about new knowledge of using
authentic materials and using authentic
materials for help students understand more
clearly.
The samples were individually
interviewed and asked a variety of openended
questions concerning their opinions,
emphasis and the thing that they have learned
from using authentic material of marking
criteria. Interviews were take note. Each
interview ended within 5-10 minutes.
