Finally, it is necessary to point it out some limitations and some possibilities for future research. Firstly, we have conducted the study in a specific local geographical area, which might induce obtaining slanted results. Therefore, it would be interesting
to compare our findings with the results obtained in other influence zones. Secondly, it would be very interesting to test another kind of products with PDO. Lastly, we have to note that satisfaction, loyalty and consumer’s buying intention are conditioned by more variables not included in the model such as perceived risk, product involvement or willingness to pay more
