If pan or tube feeders are used they should be adapted
specifically for this technique.
The feeders as well as drinkers should be easily accessible
and visible for the birds, their height adapted to the
size of the chicks throughout their life. They should
not form a big obstacle to the movement of the birds
throughout the house. They should be placed on slats
if slatted areas are used in the house so that the birds
are encouraged to use them.
