overall nice hotel. about 5 min walk from BTS.
friendly staff and good service.
but there is one thing that disgusted me. The housekeeping staff. Im not sure if it is top down instructions from the hotel management for cost saving purposes... they are really calculative!
To keep my story short... they insisted that we return our existing worn room slipper inorder to exchange for a new pair! i requested for an exchange bcos ours got wet in the toilet. the design of the shower room obviously didnt go through too much thoughts. it gets flooded easily. back to the slipper story, i asked for a changed, and the housekeeping lady insisted that i return her the pair i was wearing on the spot. and i did so although feeling surprised. and because my friend was bathing, so it wasnt convenient to return to them the other pair. So she handed me 2 new pair of slippers. my friend didnt change to the new pair afterall since walking around the huge and clean room was acceptable. the next day, we were surprised that the housekeeping staff did not provide another pair of slipper even though there is only 1 pair in the room (we left the 2 new pair in the luggage). its cost cutting? ive never encounter such problem in other hotels. why stinch on such things?
another incident..the hotel provide good night chocolate each night. well, we were back in the room late and just put aside the 2 pieces of chocolate by the sofa table instead.
Interestingly, for the next 2 nights while we were there.. they just recycle the same 2 pieces of chocolate and put it by our bedside as the good night chocolate. isnt it funny? shouldnt it be additional pieces? Why did they reuse? We dont particularly greed over chocolate. but its the service/attitude that amazed us. its like..who moved my chocolate??!
