Apparently at the entrance of this market you will also find Troy’s Restaurant & Bar named Rod’s, the antique warehouse is also located next to it. The vintage merchandise available for sale in this market ranges from furniture to motorcycles to cars to toys and even clothes. There are two sections to the market, facing Kamphaeng Phet Road is the front section that occupies a large empty space and looks like a parking lot. Here, market vendors display their collections on the ground or on makeshift props like wooden crates, pallets and retro cars. Don’t get caught up here, venture a little further in, down a narrow backstreet and you will get to the abandoned warehouse where even more vendors and goods fill the entire area that leads to the old trains and railroad tracks. Besides the really amazing vintage stuff, there is a whole host of street side food options to tempt your tongue. A lot of Volkswagen vans spread out around the entire area have been modified to serve cocktails, snacks and beer. Some people have also converted the rusty train coaches into restaurants to appeal to the customer. The place has its own individual charm and bound to be a nostalgic experience for the traveller.
