In the study, condensed molasses was used as substrate for bioenergy production under dark fermentative conditions. Aspen Plus simulation was employed for commercial model simulation for the economic evaluation and IRR calculation was employed for determining the market value of commercialization. The mass and energy balance calculation was obtained and the data could be further calculated with actualmarket price, which reveals benefit and potential of process. As results, the multiple applications were also calculated in this study, which is vital to scale-up of biomass-derived gas production. In this study, the feasibility of commercialization potential of biomass-derived gas production system has been verified. Based on IRR analysis with the calculated years of 15 years, the IRR is 32.47%, which means the two-stage biohydrogen and biomethane productions system from condensed molasses can payback within 3.19 years.
