Research subject is “Factor Affecting Generation Y Employees’ Engagement: A Case study of a MICE company in Bangkok” The purpose is to study the General information, factors of motivation to work, employee engagement levels of generation Y, and factors that affect the motivation of Generation Y staffs of a MICE company in Bangkok.
This research is a survey research. Using questionnaires with 196 Generation Y staffs. The statistics used in the analysis are percentage, mean, and Standard deviation. Hypothesis test with The F-test, one-way ANOVA. and test the relationship by using the Pearson correlation coefficient values. The results showed that most of Generation Y employees was born during the year 1980 -1984. The level of commitments of Generation Y staffs towards the overall organization is included in a rather high level. When considering found that the most 5 high engagement level is the first person is proud to tell everyone that he/she is an employee of this company, you proud with the work that you have been assigned, You know that your department has helped make the company successful, according to the plan, you feel pride in your work, and you are willing to devote to work so that the company achieve the goal, respectively. To test the hypothesis that different birth year there is organizational commitment is no different. Statistically significant at level 0.05 to test the relationship between motivation and organizational commitment to work with Generation Y employee motivation factors and hygiene factors.
