Thai Silk
Thai silk worms feed exclusively on mulberry leaves and are raised in precise conditions to create grade A silk, not only is mulberry silk more durable it is finer, smoother and off a more uniform colour. Further more mulberry silk is hypoallergenic and completely odorless, therefore does not need airing out as lower grade silks do.
Handmade
Thai silk is completely hand reeled and handmade, hand reeling silk produces three grades of silk: two finer grades used for lightweight fabrics and one thicker grade for heavy fabrics. Weaving still takes place in home workshops using a loom and techniques that have been passed down for centuries.
