After saying goodbye to your friends, you took out your phone and called your boyfriend to see how he was feeling. A few seconds later, you heard a very familiar ring-tone. You turned to the sound’s direction, and your (colour) eyes widened in surprise. Leaning against a wall, smirking at his phone, sporting a pair of green shoes, light brown pants, a white shirt and a black leather jacket, was none other than your supposed to be sweet and adorable green haired boyfriend.
You ended the call, put your phone back in your bag, and made your way to Wally. He lifted his head up, and the moment he noticed you, he flashed his famous crooked smile you had fallen in love with years ago. He spread his arms widely to greet you in a warm hug, and you gladly accepted. You wrapped your arms around his neck and he nuzzled his head in the crook of yours. One hand was placed on your waist while the other was stroking your soft (colour) locks. You giggled as he lightly kissed them, and sighed as he pulled away. He stared at you with his mesmerizing turquoise eyes full of love, and maybe a tiny hint of lust.
“Hey babe,” he said quietly, his crooked smile still plastered on his baby-face. His voice was probably still in recovery.
“Hey.” You smiled back. “How are you feeling?”
“A lot better, now that you’re here.” Wally smirked.
You felt like you were going to die. No matter how many times you’ve seen him sneering, you were always caught off guard. His smirk grew wider as he noticed your cheeks getting flushed, but it suddenly disappeared when he saw two guys coming closer.
“What’s wrong?” you asked.
He didn’t say anything. He just furrowed his eyebrows and glared at the two male teens. They were both really tall but one was more muscular than the other. They didn’t look familiar, but he could already tell they were trouble.
“Hey babe! Nice ass!”
You flinched as you heard his comment.
“What are you doing with a weak kid like him? A sexy girl like you should be hanging out with guys like us,” the other said.
Your eyes widened in fear as Wally protectively wrapped his arms around you and shot a deadly glare at the two bigger boys.
“Leave her alone!” your boyfriend tried to shout, but it sounded more like a loud whisper.
“Bark louder! Or can you only mew?”
This time, he had gone too far. Wally suddenly released you and stomped to the much taller and stronger man. You shouted your boyfriend’s name, afraid that he might get hurt. But what you didn’t expect was, the green haired boy surprisingly grabbed the taller man’s collar, and punched him right in the face, making him fly until he hit his friend. They both fell on the ground with a big thump, and once they got up, they immediately ran away. You knew that Wally was secretly known as being the bad-boy in town, but you had never seen him punch someone before. You were completely shocked, but amazed at the same time. It clearly showed that he would do anything to protect and defend you, even if you weren’t really offended or didn’t feel like it. Wally really loved you, and you felt the same.
Turning around, Wally made his way to you, his hand trembling. It must have hurt pretty badly.
“I’m sorry you had to see this. I know you don’t like seeing this kind of stuff.” He scratched the back of his head with his other hand.
You lightly chuckled and took his injured hand with yours, placing soft kisses on it. “It’s okay. It proves once again how much you care about me.” You smiled at him.
“I do. I really do. I love you (your name),” he said in all honesty.
“I love you too Wally,” you replied with a wider grin. “Yellow was right. You really are sweet.”
“Were you girls talking about me?” he asked in a rather cocky tone.
“We were talking about boyfriends in general. Lyra wanted to know who the best boyfriend is.”
“It’s me.” He smirked again.
You rolled your eyes and flicked his forehead. He let out a grunt and then continued.
“But do you know why?” he asked. You shook your head in response. “It’s because I have the best girlfriend.”
Once again, he formed his crooked smile on his adorable face, and you couldn’t help but giggle. “Is the oh so bad-boy Wally being sweet again?” you teased.
Your green haired boyfriend just shrugged his shoulders and then took your hand in his, fingers intertwined. He then whispered something in your ear, making you blush a million shades of red.
It went something like, “Remember, the more I wait, the hungrier I am.”
