All buildings shall be provided with suitable means of rainwater drainage, which
shall comprise of, as a minimum, gutters, pipework and roof outlets in accordance
with Section 1506 of UBC Vol. 1.
Rainwater drainage shall be designed to ensure the complete discharge of
rainwater from the building without leaking. All components for each type of
pipework and guttering shall be obtained from the same VENDOR.
Complete sanitary and plumbing works for toilet, kitchen, laboratory rooms and
washing area of the buildings shall be provided including sewage and solid waste
disposal system.
All building requiring toilets and other drainage facilities shall be provided with
plastic soil vent pipework, branches and fittings. All components for each type of
pipework shall be obtained from the same VENDOR.
All underground drainage, whether for rainwater or foul drainage, shall be UPVC.
Installation of drains shall be according to GES.01.40.027 Drainage Design
Specification.
