Thai Agri Foods Public Company Limited was established as a food processing company in 1986 with a registered capital of 180 million Baht. The company was promoted for all privileges awarded by BOI (Board of Investment). The company has grown rapidly in response to strong worldwide demand for canned and frozen food products. Healthy and efficient growth allowed the company to go public in 1991 and TAF was accepted as a member of the set (Stock Exchange of Thailand) on September 13, 1991.
The proximity of the TAF to the gulf of Thailand and to the suppliers, together with the company’s highly efficient diversified food operations, enabled the company to supply high quality products at reasonable prices to customers worldwide. Due to the overwhelming demand in the export market, the company extended its operation facilities to LAMPOON in 1992 and then to RAYONG in 1995, to produce value added food products.
