Despite the increase in the size of our operations over the previous five years,
our GHG intensity ratios based on available seat miles (ASMs), revenue Passenger
miles (RPMs), and revenue ton miles (RTMs) have followed a decreasing trend.
Our 2014 GHG inventory shows a decrease in the total GHG emissions in tons of
CO2e compared with the past year, and a decreasing trend in GHG intensity ratios
year-over-year because of Southwest’s many efficiency measures discussed
throughout the 2014 Southwest Airlines One Report™
