Reportedly, the Insured's composite hose with a flange at the end, which is used for transferring nitrogen gas into the ship, suffered excess movement due to the failure of a glove valve causing the flange to impact the Claimant's composite hose which was placed nearby.
The Claimant's composite hose made of stainless steel, 6" in diameter and 9 m in length and bound with ropes, was impacted and partially dented.
