3.2. Land use
The City of Choctaw owns the approximately 107
acres that make up the industrial park (see Fig. 4). It is
managed by the Industrial Park Authority, made up of
people within the city government. Running through
the center of the park is a tributary of Choctaw Creek
(Fig. 4(p)). The creek and the 100-year ¯ood plain
(3.O) takes up approximately 20 acres of undevelopable
land. These 20 acres would serve some recreational
purpose for the users of the community and the
users of the park.
