Definitions
1. In this Law -
"commodity" - movables and any building or installation, even if attached to the ground, excepting pharmaceuticals;
"specification" - the description of the properties of a commodity, including some or all of these particulars: its purpose, operation, objective, the process of its production, installation, operation, ways of its use, its quality and ways of assuring it, quantity, dimensions and how they are measured, ways of testing, storing, maintaining and transferring from one place to another, its origin, designation, labeling, packaging and other properties of a commodity, its parts and materials, which the Institution will require;
"sale" includes sales promotion, holding in order to sell, exchange or rent; keeping a commodity at a place of business or elsewhere, in quantities and under circumstances not commonly associated with personal use shall be deemed holding in order to sell, unless the holder proves that he is not holding it in order to sell;
"this Law" includes the regulations, orders or proclamations made thereunder;
"the Minister" - the Minister of Industry and Trade.
