textbook). Implementation occurs when CAI is used to any extent in an
educational program. The most complex and most effective level of CAI use
is integration. As implied in the term, ‘‘integration’’ ensures that the use of the
CAI program is an ‘‘integral’’ component of the overall learning experience.
