Conclusion
The major conclusions of the present study were that
the direction had significant impact on vibration
acceleration: x-axis was predominant for the front,
z-axis for the chainsaw’s rear handle. Frequencyweighted
vibration was highest for idling, followed
by delimbing and cutting. Vibration values were
significantly higher when working with blunt chain.
A trend of higher vibration magnitude of chainsaws
equipped with Kesper safety bar in comparison to
those with conventional bar was not statistically
significant.
