With regards to the Doraemon Tumblers Programme, there are a number of store execution issues which requires your urgent attention
Barcode Scanning
- Cashiers are often scanning the incorrect barcode on the Prompt Cards
- From the data received, it was discovered that some cashiers are scanning the Product Barcode for Discount Glass on the Prompt Card, instead of the Stamp Issuance Barcode
- IT also advised that one store visited did not have a prompt card, and was scanning a barcode from a piece of paper
This is currently causing a problem in that the system data generated by IT is not accurate
The stamp issuance rate is very low, with over half the stores under-performing significantly
The Glass redemption record is inaccurate, as some cashiers scan the Glass barcode instead of the Stamp barcode, which means our forecast on the Glass redemption and re-order needs will be impacted
Can you issue a notice to stores to remind of the correct Stamp Issuance and Redemption Procedures, and ask them to follow the Prompt Card instructions?
In addition, there were some GSM’s who did not attend the Manager’s Training, and could it be that their stores are now suffering due to a lack of training?
You can identify the poor performing stores from the stamp issuance table which I sent you yesterday (re-attached in this email)
We need you to address this with your GSMs so that corrective action can be made ASAP
