With reference to PO. No.10-00386_R.1 and contract no. LVTU10001for 3 sets of “UBE” Vertical Roller Mills with 4 rollers, L.V. Technology PCL placed an order with Ube Machinery Corporation, Ltd. and the “UBE” Vertical roller mills were supplied and delivered to 759APODI Cement– Brazil through L.V. Technology PCL.
In May 2016, the client informed that “all 3 mills have cracked on mill stand”.
In June 2016, UBE (Ms. Nicole) informed that “UBE Vertical Cement Mill is designed to run with 2 rollers NOT 4 rollers, 4 Rollers operation is not according to UBE concept and experience, the mill is NO longer UBE design and system when it is running with 4 rollers, operation by 4 Roller has been all along and only LVT concept and not UBE, if it is LVT concept, then there is no need for UBE to be involved in anyway since our concept contradicts, if you are not expert in mill operation, then why do you want to insist on your concept and not follow manufacturer’s concept? You are contradicting yourself; UBE has completed our obligation to LVT with regards to Apodi project after getting certificate from LVT. We have no intention in continuing conversation since it is not getting anyway and just wasting our time.”
However, this is UBE’s responsibility to design and supply the UBE mill brand name as per the contract, I’m really confused and unbelievable that UBE mill can’t be operated with 4 Rollers BUT unfortunately UBE have signed contract and supplied UBE mill with 4 rollers for many projects.
LVT have worked and treated UBE as the partner and professional service we received from UBE. Unfortunately, your company recently not supports to solve the problem of UBE mill BUT quoted the negative message to LVT, attached is an email from UBE for your reference.
