Abecker, Mentzas, Legal, Ntioudis, and Papavassiliou (2001)
proposed knowledge delivery through a formal representation of
a generally accepted domain knowledge structure. However, they
did not show the detailed structure of the proposed ontology. Fishwick
et al. (2007) presented a case study of an application integration
of a project-planning tool and a visualization/simulation tool
based on the ontology related to workforce requirements and resources.
However, their ontology could be considered too simplistic
since it did not include the standardization of WBS (work
breakdown structure) elements and precedence relationships
among WBS items for complete application integration.
