Access Blog > Blog Posts to create and edit your blog posts. A blog post is divided into 2 views: the view that is displayed on the blog home page (or blog category pages) and the detailed view that is the actual article page. Each article page can be customized with its own settings such as:
SEO Keyword
Comment status (whether to allow comments or auto-approve them).
Featured image (the image that is displayed in the grid or list view at the blog home page or blog category pages).
Custom page meta data relevant to the current article.
Article categorization (assigning articles to particular blog categories).
Related products that may be mentioned or of interest to readers of current blog post.
Layout Override - The ability to create a custom layout in System > Design > Layouts and assigning it to a particular post page so that it can be individually customized with specific modules.
Featured Image
The featured image serves as the post image in the Grid or List view at the blog home page, blog category pages, or in blog modules such as the Posts Module displayed across your store. The featured image does not appear on the blog post page but you can add it the post description again if it is needed in the actual article details.
Post Views
You can display your articles in different views, in both Grid or List formats. The Grid view can display from 1 to 10 articles per row and optional Carousel mode is available for both Grid or List views.
