PPhu Soi-dao National Park in Uttaradit covers the areas of Pa Nam-pad National Conserved Forest, Tambol Muang-jedton, Tambol Na-khum, Tambol Ban Koak, Ban Koak District, Huai Moon District, Nam-pad district of Uttaradit Province, and Tambol Bor-pak, Chattrakarn district of Pittsanulok province. The park consists of beautiful forests, and many streams and rivers. Major sightseeing spots include Phu Soi-dao Waterfall, a beautiful 5-step cascade. Geographically, this national park consists of high mountain ranges and savannah grassland, which marks the Thai-Laos border. Phu Soi Dao itself with a summit 2,102 meters above average sea level is the highest spot. There is an enormous field once used as a Hmong hill tribe plantation. Phu Soi Dao National Park is a well-loved tourist destination because the climate is cool throughout the year. Average temperatures usually range between 13°C and 35°C. The rainy season is a suitable time to visit chiefly because of the splendid display of wild flowers in full bloom. Ngon Nak and Dok Din blossom during this season.
