To All WebEx Meeting Hosts,
A Microsoft security patch (KB3069392) was deployed via Federal-Mogul’s standard patching process starting late yesterday which prevents meeting hosts from sharing their desktop and applications via WebEx. We have confirmed with WebEx that this is a known bug and they are working with Microsoft for resolution in a future update. In the meantime, to resolve this issue, please follow the steps below.
• Open the Windows Run bar on your PC (click on the Windows Start button in the lower-left corner of the screen represented the icon below)
• Copy and paste C:WindowsSystem32wusa.exe /uninstall /kb:3069392 /quiet /norestart in the area highlighted by the red box below then hit the Enter key
This command will run silently and will not perform an automatic restart of your PC. Before hosting your next WebEx session, you must reboot your PC to avoid an issue with your next meeting.
