A systematic investigation of dielectric constant (ɛ) at different frequencies was carried out in the temperature region, 300–800 K. Fig. 6 shows the variation of dielectric constant (ɛ) with temperature of all the samples and one may note that ɛ of all the samples is found to decrease with increasing dopent concentration (at a fixed frequency of 1 KHz), frequency and temperature. The behavior clearly reflects the active role played by the La dopent in modifying dielectric behavior. The results are consistent with the earlier report by Polomska et al. [24]. The dielectric constant of all the samples is exhibiting two clear anomalies at two different temperatures. First transition observed at 500 K is attributed to a transient interaction between oxygen ion vacancies and Fe3+/ Fe2+.
