Following the brand concept of experimenting with denim, Tenryo have once again pushed the barriers with this Color Revolution Collection. Weighing in at a comfortable 13.5oz either in Raw or One Wash denim fabric, the jeans are available in five colorways: Indigo x Red, Indigo x Green, Indigo x Yellow, Indigo x Blue and a classic Indigo X Black.
The jeans all look great worn, with a touch of each color seen in the denim fabric. But the real treat of this series are the bold colored weft yarns on the inner fabric of all the jeans, revealed when folding the leg opening up into a cuff.
Tenryo jeans are constructed with meticulous attention to detail while maintaining simple silhouettes. The fabric is rope dyed, and use of chainstiching is evident throughout the jeans. The use of white for the "Kanji" (Japanese character) logo stitching looks especially good on colored denim, and Tenryo Denim have chosen to use Cowhide for the back patch this time around, instead of their usual "Hampu" (Heavy cotton Sail cloth).
