At the end of six months, students took another TOEIC test, and a survey,
prepared by the school, was handed out in class (see appendix 2). TOEIC scores showed
a general overall improvement, with some students raising their scores by 50 points or
more. Several students showed marked increases in all sections of the test, resulting in a
general increase of over 100 points. Survey results indicated overall satisfaction with
the course, although some students in class “A” noted that their reading assignments
