Oil palm fibers were extracted from fruit mesocarp
which obtained after the subtraction of oil seeds from
fruit bunch for oil extraction. Fibers were washed several
times with water until the dirt was vanished then dried in
oven at 105°C overnight to vaporize the water. The
fibers were mashed to a small size using a blender then
were sieved by using a sieving machine (Endecott EFL
2000, England). The average length of the fibers was
about 2 mm before making the composites.
